FAQ's I am interested in becoming a vendor, what forms do I have to fill out? We are excited you want to become a vendor! The process is very easy. All you need to do is print and fill out the forms below this answer. Send us your completed forms and we will contact you with more information regarding booth locations, rules, and regulations. Link to Application How much does a booth cost? We offer three booth sizes, so you can choose the perfect size for you and your merchandise. A 7' x 10' is $35.00, a 14' x 10' is $70.00 per month and a 14' x 20' booth is $140. All booths come with electrical power at no extra charge. Also, we can arrange for special accommodations of over-sized items in an outdoor area if necessary. Feel free to contact us regarding space availability and booth locations at The Market. Can I buy a booth for just one month or do I have to buy it for the entire year? You can buy a booth for just one month, every month, every other month, whatever works best for you. We offer discounts to vendors who participate in multiple months. Please call us for more details at 318-427-6991. What types of items are sold at the Market? We sell all kinds of unique, eclectic items. There is too much to list. Vendors and merchandise can change month to month so you never know what you will find. Every month The Market is always a little different. Some of the staples thus far have been: hand crafted jewelry, homemade delicious deserts and pecan treats, pretty pocketbooks and sassy sandals, fishing accessories, photography taken by local artists and much, much more... Is there a place to eat for lunch? Of course. Smokey Jo's, a lunchtime BBQ spot, is located exclusively at The Market. They serve up savory BBQ sandwiches, certain to make even the pickiest eater happy. Is there an admission charge? No, there is no admission charge, however, there is a $1.00 parking fee. It goes directly to that month's non-profit organization. Each month, The Market chooses a local charity to receive all of the parking fees collected at that month's market. How much have you raised for local non-profit organizations? Since The Market first opened in October 2007, The Market has raised over $5,400 for our local non-profits. We are very proud of that. Where and when is The Market held? We are open the first full weekend of every month. Our hours are Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.. Come in rain or shine, we will be there! What happens if it rains? Come rain or shine, the Market will be open for business. If weather conditions are too treacherous, we reserve the right to close. |
